Job Description
Seeking a motivated and highly skilled Field Service Technician who will travel to customer locations to install, maintain and support Ackley Machine equipment. Up to 70% international and domestic travel required (once COVID travel restrictions are lifted).
- Maintain customer relations by effectively servicing the equipment
- Provide detailed service reports
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair machines while on-site at the customer’s manufacturing facility
- Troubleshoot and diagnose machine problems through remote online connection from the company’s headquarters in New Jersey
- Maintain records of service calls and machine issues
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment such as cleaning and lubricating
- Evaluate existing equipment for spare part replacement needs
- Make equipment adjustments and provide the customer recommendations on how to optimize machine performance
- Perform machine acceptance and validation testing
- Perform on-site commissioning and provide training for setup, operation and maintenance of the equipment
